Dan Rodgers | Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach | Carnegie Mellon University
Dan Rodgers joined the men’s golf program as assistant coach in 2014-15 before being named head coach for the 2016-17 season. Rodgers also serves as the head coach of the women’s golf team which competed in its first year of varsity collegiate competition in 2014-15.
The conclusion of the 2022 season saw the Tartans place sixth at the NCAA Championships after receiving the program’s fifth bid to the national stage. Jason Folker led the Tartans with placing 13th individually at the NCAA Championships. Three golfers were named to PING Mid-Atlantic All-Region and two were named PING All-America with Folker becoming a three-time All-American. William Knauth was named the recipient of the 2022 Byron Nelson Award, which is given to a graduating senior, across all NCAA divisions, and recognizing achievement in the classroom, on the course, and in his community.
