Are CGX camps compliant with NCAA Rules?

CGX Camps are run in accordance with institutional camp guidelines and abide by all associated NCAA rules. We work hand-in-hand with the coaches on our Advisory Board and NCAA compliance professionals to stay current on all NCAA legislation.

How does CGX select it's coach line-up?

There are many factors that go into our coach selection process, including location, strength of program, academics, and coaching experience. If you would like a specific coach to come to a CGX Camp, let us know!

Who is allowed to register?

Our camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number of participants, gender, and age.

Is CGX a good fit for my ability level?

CGX creates unique and transformational opportunities for junior golfers at all stages of development to help you evaluate your game, achieve your goals, and gain invaluable experience through college coach engagement. No matter what your level, CGX camps are for you.

Is cgX a recruiting service?

No, CGX is not a recruiting service. CGX adheres to all NCAA rules associated with institutional camps.

What can I expect at a CGX camp?
  • Engagement with college coaches in a relaxed environment
  • Education / seminar sessions about college golf and the recruiting process
  • Instruction and evaluation by college coaches
  • Support helping you achieve your junior and collegiate golf goals
  • Welcome tee gift, range balls, tee times, lunches, waters and snacks
What does my tuition not include?
  • Airfare (if applicable)
  • Lodging / hotel accommodations
  • Transportation – campers and their family are encouraged to rent a car or Uber/Lyft to and from hotels, golf courses and airports
  • Money for gifts and trip incidentals
Are parents allowed to attend?

Parents are encouraged to attend all sessions as there will be many opportunities to ask questions to coaches. The only time we ask parents to stay to the side is during skill instruction and on-course competition.

Are Spectator carts available?

Spectator carts are available at the pro shop’s discretion. Some courses may require a handicap placard to receive a spectator cart.

Where should juniors and their family stay?

CGX makes arrangements with a host hotel close to the golf course. Information for the hotel will be shown on camp registration pages. All CGX campers will be given a hotel code to reserve rooms.

When should campers arrive?

Campers should plan to arrive at the golf course 15-30 minutes prior to the start of camp on each day. If campers are staying overnight at a hotel, College Golf Experience recommends flying in the day before camp begins to ensure no camp is missed.

What should campers bring?

Campers should pack golf clubs, golf clothes for the weather, golf balls, gloves, rain gear, sunscreen, cell phone, snacks, casual clothing for evenings and any personal needs.

What food do campers eat?

Campers enjoy a full breakfast at the hotel with a hearty lunch at the course, and dinners. No dorm food will be served.

Do CGX Camps have Insurance?

Yes, every CGX Camp has comprehensive insurance coverage for every event.

Are scholarships available for Camps?

Scholarships are available for up to 50% of registration fees.

Are there group discounts for High School teams?

High School Team discounts are available for 3 or more players. Please email info@collegegolfx.com for more information.

What is CGX's cancellation policy?

50% credit on your account prior to 14 days before camp.

25% credit on your account 4-13 days before camp.

0% credit within 3 days of camp.

what forms of payment does CGX accept?

CGX accepts credit card payments through our online registration portal.
