College Golf Experience

What is a CGX College Golf Performance Camp?

A one-day, on-course performance experience built for junior golfers who want to lower their scores, sharpen their game, and get direct access to active College Coaches. You'll spend the day working the course alongside coaches who identify what's holding your game back — and exactly what to do about it. For those competing in an associated junior tournament the following day, that's an edge most competitors won't have. Either way, the coaching, the course time, and the connections are worth the day.

01
Perform Better. Score Lower.
College Coaches see scoring patterns that junior golfers miss. Through on-course feedback and targeted skill work, you'll leave with a clear picture of what's costing you strokes — and what to do to stop giving them away.
02
Gain a Real Edge on the Course
Walk the fairways with College Coaches and build a game plan most players never think to make. Know where to attack, where to play smart, and how to manage your round before it starts — for tomorrow's tournament or any round after this one.
03
Direct Access to College Coaches
Spend a full day alongside active College Coaches — ask questions, build relationships, and create the kind of in-person connection that a scorecard or highlight reel alone can't give you. This is what recruiting visibility actually looks like.

Who Should Attend

Open to Boys & Girls  ·  Ages 11–18

Junior Golfers Who Want to Score Lower
You work on your swing — this camp works on your game. If you want to improve course management, strategy, and the way you think on the course, this day is built for you.
Players Who Want a Competitive Edge
Most junior golfers never get coached on how to read a yardage book, manage a round, or build a course game plan. This camp gives you what your competition doesn't have.
Golfers Curious About Playing in College
Spend a full day alongside active College Coaches. Ask questions, learn what college golf actually looks like, and build the kind of in-person connection no highlight reel can replicate.
Players Competing in the Associated Tournament
This camp runs the day before an associated junior tournament on the same course. If you're competing, you'll walk in with a game plan, course knowledge, and coach input that most of the field won't have.
In Partnership with the South Central PGA

A structured session on how College Coaches think about course strategy — where to attack, where to protect, and how to build a game plan that holds up under pressure.
Yardage & Green Book

College Team Drills
Work through drills pulled directly from college program practice routines — the same skill-building exercises used by the teams these coaches run.
College Golf Seminar
A candid session with College Coaches on what life actually looks like as a player on a college team — expectations, preparation, the balance between golf and academics, and what separates players who thrive.
Range Session & Lunch

The closest you could get to actually being a college player. My favorite part was getting to know the coaches and meeting other really competitive players. The edge in my performance definitely came from the preparation with the coaches. This camp is unlike any other.
