ERIKA DESANTY | woMen's Head Coach | Princeton
Erika DeSanty, who is in her ninth year as Princeton’s head women’s golf coach in 2022-23, was named the head coach of the Princeton women’s golf program on July 18, 2014.

The 2021-22 season saw Princeton win its third Ivy title in five chances, setting program records along the way as DeSanty earned Ivy League Coach of the Year honors for the second time. While winning four tournament titles and posting top-10 finishes in every tournament between the fall and the spring, Princeton had four of the best six rounds in program history, topped by a round of 280 during the Princeton Invitational that surpassed the previous program best by six strokes. The program’s four best 54-hole scores all came between the fall and spring, as the team broke the program record twice in the fall, first with a score of 869 at the Penn State Invitational and then an 864 at the Princeton Invitational. Victoria Liu won Princeton’s 11th medalist honor at the Ivy League Championship as Princeton went on to have its best team finish and score to par at the NCAA Regionals, finishing sixth at the Stanford site at +21.

Amy Weeks | woMen's Head Coach | Columbia
With over 25 combined years as both an NCAA Division I collegiate golf coach, NCAA Division I athletics administrator and standout collegiate golfer, Amy Weeks begins her ninth year as head coach of Columbia’s women’s golf program in 2021-22. The former Oklahoma State Head Women’s Golf Coach and Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator, Weeks joined the Columbia women’s golf program as a volunteer assistant coach in October of 2011 and was later named Head Women’s Golf Coach in August 2014.

The 2021-22 season was Columbia’s first after the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lions finished in second place at the 2022 Ivy League Women’s Golf Championship, its highest finish in the event since 2008. Two Lions—Jennifer Wang (second place) and first-year Taylor Zeng (fourth place) both earned First Team All-Ivy League honors, while sophomore Allison Paik (10th place) earned Second Team accolades. William Terminello Award winners Wang (No. 4 at 76.09) and Alexis Florio (No. 2 at 75.90) both concluded their careers ranked among the program’s top-5 players in career scoring average. Columbia set 11 school records in the process and its 304.17 scoring average ranked No. 2 in school history.

In 2019-20, Columbia accumulated a school-best 302.5 stroke average (10 rounds) before play was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Alexis Florio (74.80), Christine Shao (74.90) and Jennifer Wang (75.10) led the Lions before play was suspended in late March.

MARK ANDERSON | woMen's Head Coach | Penn
Mark Anderson has been the head coach of Penn women’s golf since August 2008. In that time, he has a record of 719-425-13 and has led the Quakers to 11 of their 12 all-time tournament titles (including the program’s only Ivy Championship crown). In addition, nine times during his career a Penn woman has won medalist honors at a tournament; prior to his arrival, that had happened just once in program history.

Also the Director of Instruction at St. Davids (Pa.) Golf Club since January 2020, Anderson has consistently been listed among the top golf instructors in the state of Pennsylvania by Golf Digest, most recently 10th in GD’s December 2021 edition.

The spring 2020 season was canceled due to the national Covid-19 outbreak. It was unfortunate for the Quakers, who seemed primed for a special season after they won two of their four fall tournaments (Penn State’s Nittany Lion Invitational and Delaware’s Blue Hen Invitational). The Blue Hen was the final fall event and Penn dominated the field, taking four of the top five individual spots led by freshman Susan Xiao earning medalist honors.
