Giovana Maymon

Giovana Maymon, a highly respected college golf coach with elite recruiting experience, has been named University of Arizona’s Women’s Golf Head Coach. Previously an assistant coach at Texas A&M, she led the Aggies to NCAA Championships and coached Adela Cernousek to an individual national title. Vice President Desireé Reed-Francois praised Maymon’s leadership, recruiting prowess, and vision for continuing Arizona’s legacy of excellence in golf, academics, and community involvement.

Jay Goble

Jay Goble, in his 13th season as head coach of Baylor women’s golf, has transformed the program into a national powerhouse. Under his leadership, Baylor achieved its first conference championship, NCAA Regional title, No. 1 national ranking, and three top-10 NCAA Championship finishes. Goble has coached 10 All-Americans and led teams to 21 tournament wins. His players have earned numerous academic and athletic accolades, solidifying Baylor’s reputation for excellence in women’s golf.

Are parents allowed to attend?

Parents are encouraged to attend all sessions as there will be many opportunities to ask questions to coaches. The only time we ask parents to stay to the side is during skill instruction and on-course competition.

Does a player need a Top 25 ranking to register?

Like all CGX Camps, Top25 is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number of participants, gender, and age.

Can a player speak with a college coach before the June 15 deadline at Top25 Camps?

Yes, CGX Top25 camps a player’s best opportunity to learn from and gain exposure to this many top-ranked coaches and programs in one place – before or after the June 15 contact deadline.

What should campers bring?

Campers should pack golf clubs, golf clothes for the weather, golf balls, gloves, rain gear, sunscreen, cell phone, casual clothing for evenings, and any personal needs.

You can Communicate with College Coaches at Golf Camps

Golf Camps are the only place junior golfers and their families can permissibly communicate with College Coaches before June 15 of a player’s sophomore year – and the only place to receive college coaching during the entire recruiting process.
