WHO SHOULD ATTEND
- Junior Golfers competing in the associated junior tournament and/or qualifier
- Junior Golfers wanting to gain an edge on the competition, improve tournament results, and raise their ranking
- Parents and Junior Golfers who want to engage with college coaches and learn about college golf from the source
- Recommended Ages: Girls & Boys (12-18)
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
July 6, 2024
- 8:00 AM | Registration
- 8:30 AM | Coach and Player Welcome and Introductions / College Golf Seminar
- 9:45 AM | College Golf Practice Session (Skill Stations, Assessments, and Challenges – Putting, Short Game, Range)
- 12:00 PM | Lunch with Coaches / College Golf Recruiting Seminar
- 1:30 PM | 18 holes with college coaches with on-course coach engagement and real-time assessments (Shotgun)
- Camp concludes following the round
The value of CGX camps
FOR JUNIOR Golfers
- Build relationships, engage with, and gain exposure to college coaches at prestigious academic schools before or after the June 15 deadline
- Experience on-course engagement, course management and strategy lessons, and real-time evaluation and feedback from college coaches
- Learn the ins and outs of playing college golf
- Gain new skills through simulated college golf practice sessions, and practice and tournament rounds
FOR PARENTS
- Parents are integrated into and participate in all activities of the camp
- Ability to engage and interact one-on-one with college coaches
- Participate in college golf and recruiting seminars to discover how to best navigate your junior’s pathway to the next level
- Follow your junior on-course during simulated college golf practice and tournament rounds
- Meet and build community with other parents going through the same process
