FOR JUNIOR Golfers
- Build relationships with and gain exposure to college coaches before or after the June 15 deadline
- Experience on-course engagement, evaluation, and real-time feedback from college coaches
- Learn what it takes to make it as a college golfer
- Gain new golf skills through college golf skills stations and challenges
- Improve your round with yardage books from PuttView Books
FOR PARENTS
- Parents are integrated into and participate in all activities of the camp
- Ability to engage and interact one-on-one with college coaches
- Participate in college golf and recruiting seminars to discover how to best navigate your junior’s pathway to the next level
- Ask your burning questions and hear what other parents want to know
- Follow your junior on-course during simulated college golf practice and tournament rounds
- Meet and build community with other parents going through the same process
CAMP SCHEDULE
8:00 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. | Registration at Tudor Field House (Moody Parking Lot – 6100 Main St., Houston, TX 77005) / Campus Tour of Rice University with Coaches and Tour of Rice Golf Facility
9:30 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. | College Golf & Recruiting Seminar
10:30 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. | Drive to Westwood Golf Club (Parents and players transport themselves – 8888 Country Creek St., Houston, TX 77036)
11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. | Lunch with College Coaches + Open Recruiting Q&A
12:15 P.M. – 2:15 P.M. | College Golf Practice Session (Putting, Short Game, Range)
2:30 P.M. | 9-Holes with On-Course Coach Engagement and Course Management and Strategy Lessons
