FAQs

Who can attend this camp?

Boys ages 12–18 are eligible to register. Players at all competitive levels are welcome, and the camp is limited to 48 participants and their parents.

What is the Player-to-Coach Ratio?

The Academic Exposure Camp – Orlando is designed for maximum interaction, with an approximate 8-to-1 player-to-coach ratio. This ensures every golfer gets meaningful time and feedback from multiple College Coaches on the course and in seminars.

Are parents allowed to attend CGX Camps?

Parents are encouraged to attend all sessions as there will be many opportunities to ask questions to coaches. The only time we ask parents to stay to the side is during skill instruction and on-course competition.

Can a player communicate with College Coaches at Golf Camps before the June 15 deadline?

Yes. Golf Camps are the only place junior golfers and their families can permissibly communicate with College Coaches before June 15 of a player’s sophomore year – and the only place to receive college coaching during the entire recruiting process.

What should campers bring?
Campers should pack golf clubs, golf clothes for the weather, golf balls, gloves, rain gear, sunscreen, cell phone, casual clothing for evenings, and any personal needs.
Are scholarships available for CGX Camps?
